Harley Pasternak | Compare Harley Pasternak blender with Vitamix
Harley Pasternak is Big News for High Power Blenders!
The Harley Pasternak Power Blender, although costing roughly around $100, beat the Blendtec and Vitamix blenders for making ice cream! We we’re astonished that a blender which costs 3 times less can produce a better consistency and have a smoother richer texture than the two most high performance blenders on the market. The consistency was just as smooth as the Blendtec blender, but for some reason the Harley Pasternak blender produced a slightly better tasting ice cream than the Omega BL630, the Vitamix blender, and the Blendtec blender. This may be because of the blade design and how the ingredients get pulverized and processed through the blades. There was no icy chunks left behind in the blend, the ice cream was perfect in creamy rich consistency and tasted amazing.
You can see in the video that the Omega BL 630 blender, the Blendtec Designer blender, the Vitamix C 500 blender, and the Harley Pasternak blender all made a creamy rich ice cream. The differences are minor to the overall fact that you can blend an ice cream with vegetables and fruits to a perfect consistency where all the ingredients are blended together so perfectly, you don’t know the difference between store bought ice cream vs ice cream made in your blender.
A little about the Harley Pasternak Power Blender.
The HP Blender is an affordable solution to a high power blender if you can’t afford a Vitamix or Blendtec or high tier high end performance blender. It is 3 times cheaper and can still power through fruits and vegetables, give you amazingly tasting ice cream recipes, smoothies, juices, and more. It has a 3HP motor with a 10 speeds, similar to the Vitamix blender, and also has a tamper style stick which you can put through the lid of the pasternak blender and use to push your ingredients into the blade while the blender is running, just like a Vitamix, and the Harley Pasternak container is large enough to serve up to 4 to 5 servings at a time.
Overall the Harley Pasternak blender is a good purchase, a few things that I like more about the Vitamix and Blendtec is there containers. The Containers on the Blendtec and Vitamix blenders are stronger and made from a BPA FREE Material where the Pasternak blender container is made from HEAVY DUTY PLASTIC. The stainless steel blade design on the pasternak works well but is very sharp so you’ll have to be careful during cleaning.
The Pasternak Blender Models are being manufactured and produced by Salton. Salton is a company which focuses on high end affordable appliances for kitchens. They are a great source for cheaper home good kitchen appliances and offer a large variety.
Harley Pasternak Blender vs..
Each of these high performance blender models did an amazing job making the ice cream recipe, we gave the win to the Harley Pasternak blender but it was very very close between all the blender models and we are not knocking any of these companies because each of these blenders easily and quickly made the ice cream, which had around 4 cups of hard ice with milk and some fruits and vegetables.
Ice Cream is one of the more difficult recipes to make in a blender, it is thick and dense and most blenders simply can’t do it. All of the blenders you watched in the video have the proper blade design to bring the ingredients into the blade and process those ingredients thoroughly. We liked the automatic features on the Blendtec blender because you can simply push the ice cream button and walk away from the blender, it changed speeds automatically and stopped when it was done and gave us a perfectly smooth rich and creamy ice cream just as good as the pasternak. It was a really close call between the Blendtec and the pasternak.
The Blendtec blenders are powerful machines, considered to have the most powerful blending motors from all the rest of the high performance blenders on the market. Blendtec motors can reach up to 3.8 hp and have 15 amps and 1800 watts. Who needs that much power? Well, at least you won’t have any trouble making ice cream. haha.
The blade design on the Blendtec blenders is extremely convienient because their are only 2 blades so you can comfortably reach in and scoop everything out from the jar. The blades are dull which makes for easy cleaning because their is no fear of cutting your hands.
The warranty on Blendtec blenders is 8 years on new Blendtec models and 3 years on refurbished Blendtec models, and the price ranges from $250 to $600.
The best Blendtec blender deals are with their refurbished blender models. You can save over $100, plus you still get a payment plan, free shipping, and a 5 year warranty, plus The Blend Offs is giving away a FREE GIFT CARD for any Blendtec blender purchase. Learn more about the Blendtec FREE GIFT CARD HERE and you can check out the Blendtec refurbished blender selection here.
The Vitamix blender has a tamper stick which we ended up not using because the Vitamix quickly brought the ingredients down into the blades so we just let the Vitamix do it’s thing, the tamper does help a lot for thick recipes such as nut butters and ice cream recipes, but this time we ended up not using the Vitamx tamper because we saw the Vitamix was able to handle the ice cream recipe.
Vitamix blenders have a powerful 2.2 hp motor which is much quieter than the other blender models in this blend off. It has a nice sturdy design with many vitamix container options. The Vitamix container used for this blend off was the Low Profile container but the standard 64oz container is also a good one for ice cream recipes.
The controls on the Vitamix are simple to use and reliable. Newer Vitamix blenders have automatic presets for frozen deserts and ice cream blends which work to make the ice cream automatically. Vitamix Ascent series blenders features digital controls with a sleek new style which looks great in your kitchen.
Vitamix Ascent series blenders come with a 10 year warranty standard which is best the warranty from allĀ other commercial blender models including the Blendtec. The Vitamix Legacy Series comes with a 7 year warranty and the Vitamix personal blenders come with a 5 year warranty.
The Best Vitamix blender deals are with there reconditioned blender models, you still get a great warranty, a payment plan, and a Vitamix blender but for a lot cheaper. Here are some Vitamix Reconditioned blenders.
The Omega also had no trouble with making the ice cream recipe, it doesn’t offer the automatic features that the Blendtec and Vitamix do, but you can control the OMEGA BL630 with the interface speed dial. The speed dial on the omega is very small and it is harder to change speeds on it, it is not big and user friendly like the Vitamix speed dial. The Vitamix controls are much better to use but the Omega is capable of blending all your different recipes to the same consistency as a Vitamix or a Blendtec.
The Omega blenders have a strong 3hp motor which rivals the Blendtec and is a very strong and sturdy blender capable of giving you amazing blends for ice cream, smoothies, juices, hot soups, and flours. It is in the same commercial blender category as the Blendtec and Vitamix blender models and is a blender to be reconciled.
The blade design is similar to the Blendtec come equipped with 2 dull blades on their blender models. The Omega BL630 container is a bit heavier than the Blendtec container weighing 3 pounds vs the 1.5 pounds the Blendtec jar weighs, but the Omega BL Container is strong and BPA Free just like the Blendtec and Vitamix.
The warranty on the Bl630 Omega blender is a solid 10 year warranty and you can now find the Omega BL630 for as low as $269 making it a solid competitor to the Blendtec and Vitamix blender models.
The Harley Pasternak Blender has a nice big speed dial for great control but no automatic settings or features so you’ll need to make recipes manually, but that is not a probably at all. For only $119 you can have a high performance blender that can give you great smoothies, juices, ice creams, and more and is comparable to a Vitamix or Blendtec blender, but for 3 times less money.
The Harley Pasternak blender is called the power blender and has a strong 3hp motor which can take down any ingredient. It’s blade design is similar to the Vitamix blender where they’re 4 sharp blades circling the bottom of the container. One disadvantage to this style of container is cleaning. When you go to clean the blender, getting under the blades is tough and scooping ingredients out from the bottom of the container is harder, plus you have to be careful when reaching in with a sponge because their is a risk of cutting yourself, unlike with the Omega BL630 and Blendtec blenders.
The warranty on the Harley Pasternak is 5 years and for only $119 from Amazon, it can’t be beat. If the blender even lasts you those 5 years you’ll have made good use from it, and it will most likely last a lot longer than that. This is not a bad investment for $119, and the consistencies you get will be much better than a regular blender and most other high performance blenders.
