Which Juice Blender is the Best Juice Blender

When you think of Juicing, most of the time you think of juicer, right? Pushing down vegetables through the tube, getting a little bit of juice from each ingredient and a big mess on the other end. Well a high power juice blender can break down nutrients so well, that the consistency can be compared to a juice from a juice extractor, but with the big benefit being that you still are able to get all the fiber and you don’t waste the nutrition, like a traditional juicer does.

GET MORE FIBER

5 Perks to a good Juice Blender vs a Juice Extractor

  • Quicker and easier to liquefy big whole foods, tough vegetables, Nuts, Seeds, and Leafy Green Vegetables.
  • You’ll get more fiber and overall nutrition from a good juice blender vs juice extractor.
  • A Juice Blender can Liquefy ingredients faster
  • Quick and fast Clean-up, and the consistency you get is liquefied enough that it is comparable to juicer but with 100% of the fiber and nutrients.
  • So we encourage blending, but we don’t discourage juicing. We recommend you do both for optimum performance.

Frank Musa, The Daily Vitamin, Blend Off, Blendoff, Blend offs, blend offs,Hi, my name is Frank Musa, I produced the Blend offs, I’m writing this review based on the Juicing tests we conducted in our Blend Offs. If you have any questions about Juicing in a blender or how the popular Blendtec vs Vitamix juice blender models compare with the Nutribullet vs Ninja Juice Blender Models, please leave your comments at the bottom of the post.

We heard from numerous sources that getting more fiber is better for you when you are older, so if you are over the age of 50, you might want to get a high performance blender vs a juicer.  Make sure to consult with a nutritionist or doctor about it to see what’s best for you.

Try Dr. Oz Green Juice Recipes

Big hard vegetables, tough complex ingredients, and loads of fiber. Regular blenders have a tough time with Dr. Oz Recipes because they’re so packed in with ingredients which is exactly the reason we wanted to use the Dr. Oz Green Juice Recipe for our demonstration.

  • We promote a high power blender because of their powerful blade and motor designs which enables the juice blender to properly breakdown and liquefy a recipe thoroughly.
  • In the Video below you can visually see the blender working and liquefying the ingredients, and unlike many blenders that leave chunks and particles behind or simply get stuck and even overheat, a good juice blender won’t have any trouble liquefying big whole foods.

Perks to Juicing in a Juicer vs a blender

  • The Perks to juicing in a juicer are that the juices have an immediate impact on your system, the juice extracts are high in sugar and hit your blood stream directly, and you will feel almost an immediate healthy boost of energy, which is amazing, and we personally love juicing and highly recommend it. It is great for you.

Disadvantages to Juicing in a Juicer

  • The downside to juicing in a juicer is it is 3 times more expensive then blending because you will need 3 times the amount of produce to create the same amount of juice that a good juice blender creates; furthermore, it will take you longer to clean up all the different pieces that come apart. Usually juicers have anywhere from 6 to 10 different pieces to clean, plus you have to deal with the waste from the vegetables and fruits.

Juicing in general is great for a – detox diet – or – fast weight loss – or a great meal replacement or healthy snack. If you want to go on a diet then buy a good juicer or juice blender.

We declared the official winners of the best juice blender to be the Blendtec Designer and Vitamix G Series blender models. Both we’re equal in texture, taste, and controls, and we couldn’t decide which was better so we gave them a tie. Runner Up was the NutriBullet Rx blender, it had a slightly thicker texture but still broke down the Dr. Oz Green Juice recipe without any trouble and produced a great tasting green juice.

  • Overall, the 4 very popular blender models where able to liquefy the Dr. Oz Green juice Recipe and break down the tough ingredients with no troubles. The Differences ly in their blade and jar designs which cause each blender to produce a slightly different consistency with slightly different tastes.
  • We found the Blendtec and Vitamix to have a more drinkable texture and a better taste with less pulp than the NutriBullet and Ninja Blenders.

Juice Blender Consistencies

  • The Blendtec and Vitamix blenders produced very similar consistencies. We couldn’t decide a winner so we declared them both equal in taste, texture, and for having similar and effective user-friendly controls.
  • We did notice that the Blendtec Wild Side Jar can produce a slightly more liquefied consistency then the Vitamix blender containers. The Blendtec-Wildside-jar is the best blender jar for juicing and is actually available for Vitamix Blenders, google Rebel Jar.
  • The consistency of the Nutribullet Rx 1700 Watt Blender was comparable to the Vitamix and Blendtec. The Dr. Oz Green Juice Recipe Ingredients all get blended thoroughly and had a good taste but was just slightly thicker and not quite as smooth as the Blendtec and Vitamix blenders.
  • The Ninja Blender produced a completely different texture and taste leaving a lot of pulp and chunks behind. It did not thoroughly blend the Dr. Oz Green Juice Recipe and the ingredients we’re harder to drink, they we’re a little chewy.

How the blades affect the texture

  • Blades on the Vitamix, Blendtec, and Nutribullet work to push ingredients a certain way, or pull ingredients a certain way. The Nutribullet and Vitamix bloth have a similar design where the blade pushes the ingredients into the sides of the container which forces them to fall back down onto the blades.
  • The Blendtec is engineered to pull (suck) the ingredients into a vortex where all the ingredients get pulled into the blades, both methods prove to be very effective.
  • The Ninja Mega Blender has a different design than the Nutribullet, Vitamix, and Blendtec. The blades on the Ninja Mega Blender are separated along a the middle of the container and spin the ingredients in and around the container. We noticed that Blendtec NutriBullet – and – Vitamix blade designs allow for the ingredients to get much more liquefied and more thoroughly broken down. The Ninja Mega Blender leaves a lot of fruit chunks behind and the blends are a bit more chewy but still drinkable.

Juice Blender Interface Features

The Blendtec, Vitamix, and NutriBullet Juice blender models HAVE AN AUTOMATIC SETTING for juicing blends, where the Ninja Blender does not. Blendtec, Vitamix, and Nutribullet blenders are preset to stop by themselves and are able to change speeds on their own. Makes it easy. Where the Ninja Mega Blender does not have an automatic feature.

You can push the button and walk away from the blender as it is capable of slowing down, speeding up, and stopping on it’s own. The – Juicing – Blend on the Blendtec models run for 50 Seconds, the cycle starts on a low speed, then changes speeds several times throughout the blend, giving you a nice juice consistency in the end. The blades seem to somewhat pulsate  while the blender is blending, sort of bouncing around the ingredients. Blendtec blenders are great for juicing and the automatic juice button is very effective.

Very nice feature, you simply turn the dial 4 clicks to the left and flip the start switch. The Vitamix blender will run, change speeds, and stop on it’s own. You can walk away and come back to the machine and your juice will be ready. This works best with the Vitamix Low Profile Container which is the Best Juice Blender Container Vitamix has for Juicing blends. You will not have to tamper as much with the Low Pro Container.

None, of which are automatic. It’s more like 3 different speed settings you can choose from. Low, Medium, High. When you push the button which runs the speed, the blender immediately goes straight to that speed, it does not start slow like the Vitamix and Blendtec blenders, it starts to spin fast and keeps spinning until you stop it. The blade design on the Ninja Mega Blender is the biggest flaw we see for juicing blends when compared to the other juice blender models. It seems to just spin everything around the container and doesn’t do a good job in liquefying the ingredients all the way.

As soon as the connection from pitcher to base is made, the blender starts to run, and it runs an automatic blender cycle, which changes speeds once during it’s complete blend, and stops after 62 seconds. The NutriBullet Rx works great for juice blends because the set chosen speed for the Nutribullet Rx Juice blender is very fast, and is able to comfortably liquefy anything you put in the pitcher.

In Conclusion for the Best Juice Blender

Blending and Juicing are both beneficial for you and will help increase stamina and strength, and depending on what vegetables and fruits you blend or juice can give you long lasting energy throughout your entire day. The main benefit to blending is the fiber you get from the whole foods. The juices from a blender can be much more nutritious than from a juicer.

  • The juice from a juicer will hit you faster but you are not able to juice nuts and seeds and all the pulp from the whole food, so with that in mind, a blender seems like the better choice. Plus, easier clean up is nice too.
  • Any blender will work, even a regular blender, but of coarse the better the blender you get, the more advantages you will have, such as better tasting juices, more thoroughly blended juices, and an easier time blending the juices. Our favorite choices between these blender models are the Nutribullet Rx which is a lot cheaper than the Blendtec and Vitamix. Of coarse if you can afford a Blendtec or Vitamix blender then any of their models would be the best choice.
